Internship Overview: The Administrative Assistant Intern for the Igniters Program Director at KDE will play a vital role in supporting the Director in various administrative tasks and projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in entrepreneurship, organizational culture, and the intersection of kingdom and business. While this is a bartered, non-paid position, interns will gain valuable experience and have the chance to contribute to KDE's mission.

Responsibilities:

1. Calendar Management: Assist in scheduling and managing appointments, meetings, and events for the Director of Culture.

2. Communication: Draft, edit, and proofread emails, documents, and other communication materials on behalf of the Director.

3. Data Entry: Maintain and update databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.

4. Research Support: Conduct research on relevant topics to support the Director in decision-making and project planning.

5. Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person meetings.

6. Document Management: Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring easy accessibility.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth communication and project coordination.

8. Special Projects: Assist in the planning and execution of special projects and initiatives as directed by the Director of Culture.

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a relevant degree program or recent graduate.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Interest in entrepreneurship, organizational culture, and the integration of faith and business.
